The Legend of the Hill is bleak

The Legend of the Hill is bleak
Once upon a time, in Sintang, West Kalimantan, Indonesia, fate was the two leaders of the descendants of god who possessed high powers, but both were of the same nature. The first is Sebeji aka known as Bujang Beji. It has destructive, greedy and greedy nature. No one can have knowledge, let alone surpass his miracles. Therefore, it is not much preferable to the community, so few followers. Meanwhile, another person named Temenggung Marubai. His nature is the opposite of the Beji Bujang nature. It has a helpful, noble, and humble attitude. The two leaders have the ultimate employment of fish, as well as farming and gardening.

Beji's bachelor and his followers took control of the river in Simpang Kapuas, while Temenggung Marubai controlled the river at Simpang Melawi. Fish in the Simpang Melawi river is of different types and numbers less than the river in Simpang Kapuas. No wonder every day Temenggung Marubai routinely gets less catch than Bujang Beji.

Temenggung Marubai grabbed the fish in the Simpang Melawi river by wearing a giant trap (fish trap) from a bamboo stick and closing some of the river's stream with stones, so easily the fishes were trapped inside his cubes. The fish were then selected, only the big fish were taken, while the small fishes were released back into the river until the fish became big enough to be recaptured. With such a tutorial, fish in the river at Simpang Melawi will not be exhausted and continue to breed.

Knowing that factor, Beji Bujang became jealous of Temenggung Marubai. Because he did not want to lose, Bujang Beji went out to catch fish in the river at Simpang Kapuas with his tutorial [2]. With the tutorial, he obtained less than a catch. Initially, fish obtained by Bujang Beji could exceed the catch of Temenggung Marubai. However, he did not realize that catching fish with a tutorial would slowly destroy fish in the Simpang Kapuas river, because not only big fish caught, but small fish also died. The impact, continued the day the catch was still a bit, while Temenggung Marubai still get a lot of catches. The fact that the Beji Bujang continues to be envious and envy of Temenggung Marubai.

"Wow, it's okay if this situation continues!" Muttered Beji Bujang with anger.

He briefly looked for a tutorial so that the fishes in the Melawi River area were exhausted. After long thought, he found the best tutorial to cover the teachings of the Melawi River with a big rock on the head of the Melawi River. Thus, the Melawi River will be blocked and the fish will settle downstream.

After thinking seriously, Beji Bujang decided to bring the top of Bukit Batu in Nanga Silat, Kapuas Hulu District. With his high magic, he was carrying the huge hill of Bukit Batu. Since the distance between Bukit Batu and the upper reaches of the Melawi River is far away, it binds the hill's top with seven leaf weeds.

On the way to the upper reaches of the Melawi River, suddenly Bujang Beji heard a woman's voice laughing at her. Apparently, unknowingly, goddesses in Kayangan have been watching over his behavior. When it was time to cross the Kapuas-Melawi junction, he looked up. But, not yet time to watch the faces of the goddesses who were laughing at him, suddenly his feet stepped on a poisonous thorn.

"Aduuuhhh ...!" Shouted Bujang Beji as she sighed with pain.

Immediately there were seven leaves of the weeds used to tie the top of the hill cut off. As a result, the tops of the rocks fell and drowned in a region called Jetak. With anger, Beji Bujang immediately looked at the faces of goddesses who kept laughing at him.

"Watch out, you guys! Wait for my reply! "Bujang Beji blunted against the goddesses as he stomped his toe with a poisoned thorn to one of the hills.

"Get out of your throat thorns!" Exclaimed Bujang Beji in anger.

After that, he immediately brought a hill that was elongated to be used to topple Bukit Batu's embankment in the area (Jetak). But, the Rock was attached to Jetak, so the long hill that had been dug up was broken into two. Finally, Bujang Beji failed to move the top of Bukit Batu from Nanga Silat to close up the Melawi River. He is very angry and intends to take revenge on the goddesses who have laughed at him.

Beji's single then planted the tree of the hornet [3] that would be used as a way to reach Kayangan and destroy the goddesses who had thwarted the plan. In the past
